Part engineer, part industrial designer, London based, Cypriot born Michael Anastassiades is also a master of the art of lighting design and no stranger to collaboration with the Italian design house Flos.

His latest collaboration with this celebrated design house is the 'Coordinates Floor' – a floor lamp composed of two vertical poles attached to a base. Each pole combines an extruded anodized aluminium face with a champagne finish, and a diffuser in platinum optical silicone with an integrated LED strip – orient the light and shade side by side or facing in opposite directrions as you assemble the lamp. Providing beautifully diffused light via a pedal dimmer switch, this lamp is a captivating, illuminating beauty that works night and day to highlight its immediate surroundings.

We have Coordinates Floor on display in the garden of our Wimbledon showroom, and it has captured all our hearts with the thrill of its presence from the very first moment it arrived with us – we just love the effect and affect it brings to a space.
